Tanzanite is found in only one place on earth, near majestic Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and is a relatively recent gemstone discovery. Blue, purple and violet tones can be seen depending on which way the gemstone is held.  

This ring features an oval tanzanite of exceptional gem quality. The tanzanite measures 8 mm X 6 mm with a depth of 4.45 mm and a weight of 1.38 carat. The diamond weight is .10 Carat. The ring is currently a size 7.
